Clinical Supervision

& Consultation

For pre-licensed clinicians:

FL: LMHC and LMFT

VA: LMFT and LPC

For licensed clinicians: Any state and License

For therapists who want to feel more clear, grounded, and confident in their work

You care about your clients. You think about your sessions after they end. You want to do good work — and most of the time, you are.

But sometimes you get stuck. You second-guess yourself in the room. You walk away from a session carrying something heavy you can't quite name.

That's not a sign that you're failing. It's a sign that you're paying attention.

This space is about slowing down enough to really understand what's happening — in the room and inside of you.

Supervision vs. Consultation

If you're seeking supervision, we'll hold the structure needed for licensure — and we'll also make room for real growth, not just hour-counting.

If you're coming for consultation, we have more flexibility. We can follow whatever is most useful — case conceptualization, deepening your use of IFS, working through a stuck dynamic, or just having a space to think out loud with someone who gets it.

Either way, this is a space where you don't have to perform as the therapist. You get to show up, be human, and grow into the kind of clinician you already know you can be.

Hi, I’m Misty.

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida (MT3747) and Virginia (0717001551), a Clinical Member of AAMFT, and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate. I'm Level 2 trained in Internal Family Systems and currently working toward certification.

I know what it feels like to sit with a client and wonder if you're missing something. I know what it's like to carry a case home without meaning to. That lived experience is part of what I bring into this space.

IFS isn't just how I work with clients — it's the lens I bring into supervision too. That means when your own material shows up in the room (and it will), we don't treat it like a problem to manage or a sign that something's wrong with you. We get curious about it. We use it. Some of the most important clinical learning happens right there — in the moment you notice a part of you pulling away, getting activated, or trying really hard to fix something that isn't yours to fix.

My style is direct and relational. I'm not going to sit back and say "mmhmm" for 50 minutes. I'll be in it with you — asking questions, offering observations, sharing my own perspective when it's useful. I want supervision to feel like a real conversation, not a performance review.

We might be a good fit if…

  • You’re newer to the field and want to feel more grounded in the therapeutic space.

  • You’re needing additional supervision hours and want that time to feel meaningful—not just something to check off.

  • You’re already licensed but find yourself stuck, second-guessing, or carrying more than you’d like between sessions.

  • You’re drawn to IFS or relational work, but aren’t quite sure how to actually use it with clients.

  • You’re looking for supervision or consultation that gives you space to think more deeply about your work—not just focus on tasks or requirements.
